We are Jerry
and Marie Jackson. We live at Susan Moore, Alabama.
We were married September 8, 1962. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Jerry is a Vietnam Veteran and a retired teacher. He taught school at Douglas
in the Marshall County School System for 27 years.
His hobby is caring for our farm animals and raising beagles.
Marie retired from 28 years of teaching and counseling, 22 years in Marshall County School System and 6 years at Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama teaching graduate counseling courses. Since retirement she has been an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Valdosta State University at Valdosta, Georgia and in the Counseling Program at State University of West Georgia at Carrollton. Marie has taught part-time at Jacksonville State University, the University of Alabama - Gadsden, and is also a licensed professional counselor. We are members of Bethel Baptist Church in Snead. |
